Starting at layouts for tender purposes through to concept designs, detail plant layouts, engineering design, 3D modelling that will include client / engineering reviews and finally delivering drawings “fit for purpose”, i.e., layouts, general arrangements, structural details, fabrication detailing (shop detailing), bills of material and assembly / construction drawings.

Our capacity includes civil engineering design and draughting services that delivers a full set of engineering design calculations, civil outlines to suit plant layout, rebar design and schedules, 3D modelling and drawings to support construction and/or further design to suit the client.

We have the expertise to assist with hydraulic calculations based on survey information and engineering input, specifying piping, valves, fittings and pumping systems which will be used to create 3D models and then drawings for tender and fabrication purposes, e.g., layouts, general arrangements, piping details, pump station layouts and arrangements, piping isometrics, bills of material, etc.

We also offer process flow diagrams and process and instrumentation diagrams based on either AutoCAD native or AutoCAD Plant 3D. The latter will produce “intelligent” schematics which is used as an input to the 3D modelling process using the same software.

Recognizing the need that exists to convert existing paper drawings into an editable electronic format, or even to create 3D models for re-use and editing or adaption, we include this in our services. It includes the ability to scan black & white, grayscale or colour drawings to industry standard formats, i.e., pdf/a formats for archiving, pdf/e for engineering purposes, jpg or bmp. This can be archived into collaboration software like Aconex, SharePoint or even into PLM systems like Autodesk Vault, Siemens Teamcenter, etc. depending on client preferences.

Done according to the health and safety act by a ticketed draughts person conforming to all government regulations and DMR standards.
